Noel Recruiting Still Under NCAA Scrutiny

For Nerlen Noel and Kentucky, the storm hasn?t passed quite yet.

According to ESPN.com, two NCAA?officials?paid a visit to Noel?s prep school in New Hampshire asking about Noel?s recruiting process. In May, NCAA officials also visited Noel?s former high school in?Massachusetts.

The NCAA has been investigating Noel and the?alleged?payment for unofficial visits.?After months of these investigations, it looked as if Noel was finally done with the NCAA and their recruiting and?eligibility issue. Not so fast.

While it unclear what exactly the NCAA is still investigating, as of now, Noel is cleared to play. According to a Kentucky?spokesperson, Noel also started classes on Wednesday and has been at practice as well. Kentucky expects all 12 players on their roster to be?eligible?when the season starts.
